Today, we are seeking a professional to fill in the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to ensure that the our program will benefit the community.
JOB TITLE: M&E Coordinator
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT: Tanoto Foundation
REPORTS TO: Program Director
JOB SUMMARY:
M&E Coordinator is a mid-level position based in Jakarta Head quarter but with frequent travels to the field. The M&E Coordinator designs TF’s monitoring and evaluation systems (database, tools, features), provides technical support to program teams in Jakarta and the fields in the design and execution of monitoring and evaluation systems and processes. He/she provides training for field teams and assists in analysis and follow-on recommendations to influence project activities, as well as future program development.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
1. Conduct and coordinate the design and development of annual TF national impact evaluation. The design including how to standardize TF national indicators by sectors, developing the standard questionnaire.
2. Providing technical assistance in design and development of monitoring and evaluation activities (baselines, mid-term reviews, report preparation, etc.), including to ensure the appropriate indicators, questions, and the methodology.
3. Provide technical assistance to project staff in how to use and maximize use of M&E systems within projects. And work with them to organize, summarize and utilize data and data findings (including visualization and reporting of project findings).
4. Design, develop and maintain systematic, coherent and updated database that allows monitoring of national impact. Set up and coordinate data entry protocols and verify datasets. Propose new ways of analyzing and presenting data.
5. Assist and/or lead in the dissemination of information and project data.
6. Develop and plan implementation of an ongoing training series to build the capacity of project staffs to better monitor and evaluate their projects, and to make better use of project information. Provide advice on the use of M&E related software and hardware throughout TF.
7. Conduct or participate in special studies upon request.
8. Support the preparation of proposals and other program development activities by providing quantitative data from projects as required.

Program Manager, Project Managers, Project Officers and field staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Relevant university degree in social sciences
· At least 4 years experience in the development, design, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems in
· Previous experience in assessment and evaluation of development actions
· Experience in designing, developing and maintaining database
· Experience in training and mentoring
· Ability to work independently in challenging working environment
· Excellent communication and report writing skills, English desired
