Environment Supervisor & Modeling Geologist

Description

1. Environment Supervisor (Central Kalimantan)

Responsibilities :
•
Setting & implementing the company goal on environmental matters,
such as: Environmental Risk Assessment, AMDAL, hazardous material,
waste handling and environment policy for work safety in mining
activities
• Understand well on government regulations and best practice related to environmental
• Setting the company Environmental Management System
• Coordinating environmental activities and encouraging environmental awareness with other/all departments
• Conducting of periodical safety with other departments as well as contractors
• Prepare environmental report to be submitted to Government (KLH, Bapedalda)
• Encounter any environmental issues

Requirements :
•
Bachelor degree in environmental mining and/or science-related field
> 5 years experience in environmental within the mining (similar)
industry
• Ability to work as Safety & Environment Team Leader
• Experienced in inspection, audit, reporting and land rehabilitation
•
Experienced in conducting environmental sampling, trend analysis,
hazardous material, waste handling, Environmental Management System,
AMDAL, risk management
• Excellent command of the English language in the use of "Microsoft Office" programs etc.

2. Modeling Geologist (Jakarta)

Responsibilities :
•
Carrying out geological modeling for mining feasibility and due
diligent exercise as well as completing compliant estimation project
• Compilation and analysis of geological data, construction and maintenance of detailed models
•
Setting & implementing of exploration & mining software
programs such as Mine Scape, Map Info, or similar software (essential)
• Get involved and fully responsible in projects from the geological modeling stages through mine planning

Requirements :
• Bachelor degree majoring in Geology from reputable University
•
Intimate familiarity with software database together with 3 years upper
experience and hands on knowledge of exploration & mining software
programs such as Mine Scape and Minex
• Consultant experience background is preferred
• Mine site experience in field or Desktop Study as Modeling Geologist will be highly rewarded
•
A strong technical background in mine and exploration geology,
familiarity with pit optimization programs and techniques would be an
asset
• Posses excellent oral and written English
• Willing to travel to Kalimantan
