CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Duties / Responsibilities:

To ensures that all tenders or agreements are reviewed in accordance with internal procedures. This includes ensuring that all tenders or agreements are subjected to legal, tax, and credit reviews.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering. Master's degree in Law/Business/Engineering would be a plus

- Advances computer skills (the Microsoft Office applications and the internet)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Basic awareness of contract law and related legal concepts including practical application in a business environment, in particular, upstream oil and gas operations.

- Detailed oriented and result focused

- Ability to work independently and make decisions

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Ability to think analytically and creatively

- Strong negotiating skills

- Ability to travel

- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in contract review and negotiation or related legal or commercial background
