IndoPacific Edelman has a current requirement for: Financial Controller (position code: FC) Financial Controller will report to Finance Director with dotted line to the Managing Director, Regional CFO and Regional Finance Director. The incumbent will liaise with and support the Managing Director and Finance Director on all financial and business management matters, work with Practice Heads on practice specific financial matters and responsible for all finance and accounting functions. He or she will ensure that necessary internal controls are in place, provide financial training for all team members as well as instill quality work standards and ethics in all team members. Responsibilities Client Contracts · Provide the necessary financial and company information to comply with Government/MNC tender requirements Cash Flow Management • Manage daily cash flow; prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure that office operates within its means and review bank reconciliations Supplier Invoices and Payments • Approval of Purchase Orders prior to dispatch • Approval of all bank and cash payments • Review monthly Factiva usage reports and investigate high level users Client Billing • Review of all Client Invoices to ensure compliance with signed Client Contracts • Review of client collections and regular follow up of all accounts receivables • Review of WIP accounts to ensure all amounts billed on a timely basis Timesheet • Preparation and review of monthly/ytd Under/Over-Service, Contribution, Utilisation and Job Profitability reports and discussion of same with Managing Director and Practice Heads • Review of staff expense claims to ensure in compliance with company spending limits and reimbursement policies Payroll • Review monthly payroll, group tax, payroll tax and superannuation calculations and submissions • Prepare annual remuneration report for employee's income tax submission or otherwise ensure proper compliance with all payroll tax reporting requirements Reporting • Completion of weekly forecast files in coordination with Practice Heads, submission to Regional office • Review WIP reconciliations • Review and adjustment of monthly draft trial balance, profit and loss account and balance sheet • Review and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations report • Review and completion of month/year end package • Review of GST returns and ensure lodged on a timely basis • Liaison with auditors and audit related queries from Region/Corporate • Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of audited statutory financial statements • Preparation and coordinate upload of monthly Hyperion Essbase job profitability reports • Complete Government statistics forms • Prepare monthly staff productivity reports (PeopleSoft) Requirements - Possess bachelor degree in Economic majoring in Accounting, preferably certified as Accountant - Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation - Minimum 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in service industry - Work experience in multinational company will be an advantage - Good ability in speaking and writing in English is a must - Well organized and excellent interpersonal communication skills. - Strong in analytical skills with high attention to detail. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent knowledge of financial systems. - Excellent in time management skills to handle multiple tasks and following through on projects and handling multiple tasks.
