Job Title : Project Manager

Department : Project Management

Division : Technical Service Division

Reporting to : Head of PMD

Job Descriptions

Overall responsibility for project activities
Plan and control survey, installation, testing, commissioning, material and equipment logistics
General control over engineering activities, include exchange of plans, drawings and other information with customers; approval of equipment layout and network configuration data
Supervision and control of sub-contractors to strictly comply with the relevant conditions of the contract
Participate in bidding activities and identify implementation requirements from tender documents
Plan resources and budget, provide solutions to customer implementation requirements, and undertake procurement management when necessary
Manage a project in one customer group and responsible for the project's KPI.
Manage teams to make equipment on air (in service) on time
Manage teams to fulfil customer requirements in order to maintain the customer satisfaction
Collect customer payment
Minimize the cost of the project implementation

Competencies Required:

§ Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering or other related field of study

§ 3-5 years’ working experience in telecommunication turnkey project management.

§ Able to promote team work, and have proven track record in leading a team to achieve targeted project goal

§ Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment

§ Must be able to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.

§ Have a management skill in project engineering.

§ Have experience to do telecom equipment installation and commissioning.

§ Wide knowledge about telecommunication network.

§ Able to operate Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Project)

§ People management skills/ experience, excellent team player,

§ Project planning, tracking, financial management skills,

§ Strong personal, problem solving, analytical and communication skill, Customer negotiation skill

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
