A well established foreign Shipping company is looking for
Port Captain
Job Description :
1. Position available in Jakarta, Surabaya, Belitung and Banjarmasin
2. Reporting to National Operation Manager – Port Agency Services
3. Requires minimum 3 years experience in Vessel operation in Indonesia. Sea-faring
experience will be advantage
4. Requires in depth understanding of Indonesia ports and the ability to provide
information on the ports to overseas parties, by working with our branch and sub-
agents offices throughout Indonesia
5. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of
vessel owners/cargo interest to provide a first class agency service.
6. Has primary responsibility for handling vessel calls in port and for reporting full operational
details to our principal
7. Ability to supervise and coordinate a variety of different vessel operations
8. Some travel within Indonesia will be required
Required Skills :
- Indonesian nations
- Fluent in English written and oral
- Good working knowledge of Vessels & Port Operations
- Ability to work in a team, in good spirit and under pressure
- Careful and Hardworking
- Working experience in similar positions are essential
