Our client a local bank, requires Assistant Manager
(Custody and Fund Accounting-Asia Pacific) with the below
given skill sets.
Primary job duties and responsibilities:-
* Under the supervision of the first line manager, plan and supervise the
workprocesses of the group.
* Audit all reporting and coordinate delivery
* Monitor and enforce compliance and risk management policies
* Ensure all instructions are validated and authorized appropriately
* Supervise and coach staf on all aspects of group responsibilities
* May perform work activities similar to the team of employees that are
being supervised.
* Assist first line manager in the supervision of daily operations and
implementation of new policies and procedures.
* Performs special projects and other tasks as assigned by the first
line manager
* Play an active and senior role in group meetings
* Maintain high standard of client service
* Prepares the audit schedule monthly
* Reviews monthly control books/audit packages and assists in timely and
accurate resolution of discrepancies.
Minimum job specifictions:-
* Equivalent to a B.S. Degree in finance, business or related field.
* 1-2 years related custody and/or fund accounting experience.
* Good interpersonal, organizational, and attntion to detail skills
* Ability to effectively delegate tasks to fund Accountants and\
monitor its completion
* Able to resolve problems effectively and independently.Demonstrate
appropriate judgement when escalating issues to First Line Manager.
* Consistently achieves deadlines, and is proactive in improving
timeliness
responsibilities.
* Team player approach to attaining group objectives.
