Our client a leading manufacturer of semiconductor products is currently seeking an Applications Engineer.
 
You will use your technical applications engineering skills to provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with semiconductor products and related reference designs.
 
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Division, you will also assist marketing and sales in assessing potential applications for company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications.
 
Additionally, in the Applications Engineer rol e, you will provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. Major responsibilities include: Technical Customer Support, Technical Marketing Support, Project Management & Documentation and Technical Training & Leadership.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• BS Degree.
• 4+ years of experience documenting computer network and/or semiconductor products for engineers, technical staff, and end users is required.
• Capable of performing complex technical presentations, software demonstrations and hands-on support to assist customers in achieving the highest level of productivity with our products.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio) and Adobe Acrobat Writer/Publisher.
• Proficiency with web site design and management is a plus. Semiconductor and/or system design experience is a plus.
 Ability to work well as a member of a team, as well as on independent projects is important.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a passion for supporting customers is a must.
