Sourcing Manager (SM) –
The role:
Responsible to identify and develop new supply sources for coil raw materials, create sustainable sources of coil raw materials and new sources, develop strategies and implement direct buying from plantations and farmers, midterm and long term sources to support business growth.
Qualifications:
§ University degree in Agriculture or Agribusiness.
§ Have minimum 2 - 3 years experience in Purchasing at a Consumer Goods company having related plantation business ORhave a minimum 2 – 3 years experience in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs at a profit organization or public company; experience as a Project Manager will be an advantage.
§ Knowledge in chemical industry, would be an advantage
§ English proficiency
§ Willing to travel extensively
§ Proficient in SAP would be an advantage
§ Good interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
§ Represent and participate in specific sourcing studies or projects on behalf of Procurement Dept.
§ Identify new sources or raw materials and powder for coil
§ Find sustainable sources for coil raw materials, especially coconut shells and woods
§ Develop mid and long term plans to ensure sustainability of sourcing powders
§ Lead development and implementation news and improvement of current sources
