Packaging Specialist / Controller
The primary role of this position is to assess, observe and do monitoring all of incoming packaging materials quality and to conduct regular packaging material suppliers assessment visit for preventing defect packaging material usage during production activities at the plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Proactive and support the QC Supervisor and QA/ESH Supervisor in developing, maintaining and improving the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and integrated QESH Management System (ISO-9002;ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001).
· Ensure understanding and compliance with relevant Quality Requirements and its standards of all packaging materials and assist QC Supervisor to keep up to date with actual and proposed changes, which will impact on PTMK business.
· Have good analytical skill to identify undesirable trends and eliminate potential laboratory hazards and incidents.
· Accountable for the supply and maintenance of special laboratory equipment and systems (such as HPLC, GC and spectrophotometer).
· Conduct periodic Packaging Vendor assessment to ensure their in-process control is in well implemented as the requirements listed
· Promptly action non-conforming results and alert relevant personnel to potential problem.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To work with care and consideration for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
· To adhere to all safe working practices and safety procedures adopted by the Company.
· To use personal protective equipment issued to you and to maintain it in good working order.
· To identify and predict hazards in your own area.
· To undertake risk assessments.
· Apply preferred order of controls to hazards in the workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Degree in Analytical Chemistry; Chemical Science.
· High-level interpersonal skill.
· High-level written and oral communication skills.
· Strong leadership skills.
· Good plan and analytical knowledge.
· Computer and English literate.
· Have 1 year QC/QA experience is preferable.
