JAVA APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST - based in Singapore
Job Responsibilities :
- Ability to write and debug Java or Delphi, SQL, stored procs and Unix scripts
- Ability to conduct data and business analysis.
- Daily maintenance of applications and troubleshooting problems with the application as they arise
- Support internal and external business customers
- Prompt response and resolution of issues raised by business.
- Excellent knowledge of CORE Java is a must. Experience in Delphi is an advantage. Both are preferable
- Extensive experience with SQL and databases
- Experience with UNIX scripting and editors (vi or emacs)
- Familiarity in working on NT and Unix operating systems
- Background in financial services/banking area will be preferred.
Knowledge of J2EE an advantage
Combination of Java and Delphi or Java and .Net skills
Knowledge of xml an advantage
A keen interest in learning the business side of hedge fund accounting.
