JD system engineer (CODE: JP306)
JOB PURPOSE:
This
position is responsible for ensuring that systems infrastructure,
company servers, workstations, email, and security are properly set-up,
up to date with security updates and well maintained.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS:

Windows server maintenance and active directory administration.
Configures servers to meet functional specifications.
Document and design specifications, installation instruction and other system related information.
Collaborates
with engineers and system developers to select appropriate design
solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility or usability.
Provides technical guidance for the development and troubleshooting of systems.
Evaluates existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
Research, test or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
Performs installation of operating systems, network, application, hardware and other company systems.
Monitors system operation to detect potential problems and provide possible solutions.
 
Requirement:

Male / Female max. 35 years old.
Excellence command in English (speaking & writing)
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related courses. 
 

LENGTH AND TYPE OF JOB-RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

At
least two to three (2-3) years minimum experience in Active Directory,
Windows Server Administration, Database Set-up and Administration,
TCP/IP Networking, Email System and Security, Hardware and Software
Installation, Linux Administration, Storage Area Network Infrastructure.
Preferable if the candidate have Microsoft Certification, Linux Certification
 
CORE CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

Working knowledge of architecture and typology of software, hardware, networks and telecommunication systems, their components, associated protocols and standards.
Working knowledge on computer network, desktop and mainframe operating systems and applications.
Working knowledge on specifications, uses and types of computer and computer related equipment.
 
KEY JOB COMPLEXITIES:

The challenge to provide accurate systems and infrastructure recommendations that result to system and operational efficiency.
The challenge to maintain the efficiency and smooth operations of current IT infrastructure resources to avoid system down time and data loss.
The
challenge is to be able to update antivirus and security patch for the
machines not to be infected by virus to avoid data loss and delays in
the operation.
The challenge to avoid server misconfiguration to prevent server or system crash.

Note: To be placed in overseas / Asian Country with Currency Exchange
Payment. This job is for permanent without contract bases, housing
provided / sharing condominium.
