on the Singapore Exchange. SMART also manages all of GAR's oil palm
plantations, which has a total planted area of 435,000 hectares
(including small holders) in Indonesia, as at 30 September 2010. Due
to our fast expansion we are in needs of several professional who are
outstanding and high motivated to fill the position of:


Head of Project Contract Management
(Jakarta)

Responsibilities:

* In search of qualified contractors for construction projects
through tender process and tender package strategies in line with
Company policy
* Manage procurement of imported proprietary items/equipments
including the international shipments, logistics and full importation
activities
* Responsible for the Tender Documents and Contract Documents with
reliable terms & conditions.
* Responsible for the evaluation and negotiation of a variety of
commercial and contract matters, including the handling of contract
disputes
* Direct and manage resources of the Project Contract Management Department

Requirements:

* Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) preferably in Technical / Engineering
* 8 years of relevant experience in Project Contract Management or
equivalent
* Proficiency in English is a must
* Preferably good understanding and exposure in managing
importation procedures, custom clearance and international shipments.
* Good knowledge of Project Contract terms ( i.e FIDIC, etc ) and
project management process and activities
* Possesses strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
* High integrity and positive attitude individual is seeked
* Detail oriented and able to work well under tight deadlines
* Willingness to travel
