World Vision Indonesia is seeking the following position:
MARKET ANALYST (code : Mark)
Job Responsibilities :
To assist the Social Entrepreneurship Unit to implement local economic development initiatives with poor Indonesian communities. Key duties will include; assessing local markets, identifying key players, opportunities and constraints, conducting value chain and sub-sectoral analysis, formulating innovative market hypotheticals that would improve local economic activity and support world vision colleagues, and local communities to develop projects in light of market assessments.
Qualifications:
· S1 or Masters degree in Marketing, Economics, Commerce, Business or related field/s.
· Strong understanding of commercial market operations and systems
· Knowledge of value chain and sub-sectoral analysis and affects on poor producers
· Understanding of market development projects and methods
· Demonstrated experience in market assessment, market analysis, market research or closely related role.
· Previous experience in research design and implementation experience
· Demonstrated experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of market development projects
· Strong experience in networking
Min. TOEFL Score 500
