Due to the growth of our survey project, we invite suitable candidates to apply for:
Project Manager – Statistician (Position Code: PM-S)
The project manager will, at a minimum, possess the following qualifications, skills and professional experience:
* An advance University Degree in statistics, Demography, social science with strong research background in the area of population.
* Project and/or direct management experience
* 10 years experience of managing and conducting survey and have an advanced knowledge in qualitative and quantitative surveys in the area of monitoring and evaluation of public management project
* Working experience in designing and implementing household survey, and monitoring survey
* Ensure the exercise follows the agreed upon time schedule and will be accountable to the ILMU Project Manager who will approve consultants deliverables
* Strong conceptual and analytical skills in social, gender and poverty data analysis
* Able to manage, organize and facilitate training to the survey team for data collection
* Experience in performing data management, processing, analysis data quality review, data editing.
* Excellent communication skills and experience in developing extensive network of professional contacts with a wide cross – section of government, Donor/NGO community, other stakeholders and civil society.
* Experience working with classic statistical tools such as linear models, logistic, regression, hypothesis testing and/or sampling
* Skill and experience in merging, managing, updating, documenting data files, and generating descriptive reports using computerized report writing tools,
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Deputy Team Leader (Position Code: DTL)
The project Manager will, at a minimum, possess the following qualifications, skills and professional experiences:
* An advanced University degree in Statistics, economics and social sciences with strong research background in the area of population
* Working experience in designing and implementing household survey, and monitoring survey, strong conceptual and analytical skills in social, gender, and poverty data analysis
* Able to manage, coordinate and training the field coordinator team for data collection
* Skills and experience to develop strategic plan in order to conduct the survey
* Working experience in survey implementation issues more particularly in implementing household survey and monitoring surveys
* Excellent communication skills and experience in developing extensive network of professional contacts with a wide cross – section of government, donor/NGO community, other stakeholders, and civil society
* Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodology
* Good knowledge of conducting interviews
* Good written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
* Assurance of work quality of the field coordinators
* Develop format data entry based on SPSS program
* Responsible to maintain the quality delivery of the database
Sampling Specialist (Position Code: SS)
At least 5 years of proven, related working experience on survey methodology design, with:
* An advance university degree in statistics or mathematics
* Strong quantitative, analytical and research skills, experienced on large scale data analysis (research experience)
* A solid understanding of sampling survey methodological issues
* Expertise-t-on demographic estimation techniques, sampling, questionnaire design, interview techniques
* Working experience in designing and implementing household survey, and monitoring survey,
* Demonstrable experience in both qualitative and quantitative studies in the area of monitoring and evaluation of governance, social/political management issues, public awareness
* Strong conceptual and analytical skills in social, gender, and poverty data analysis
* Information analysis and result – oriented report writing
* Wide use and experience in statistical software applications, merging, managing, updating, documenting data files, and generating descriptive reports using computerized report writing tools.
Field Coordinators (Position Code: FC)
The field coordinator will, at a minimum, possess the following qualifications, skills and professional experience:
* An advance university degree in the social sciences
* At least 10 years experience in managing, conducting, and coordinating surveys in field conditions of Indonesia
* Demonstrable experience in designing both qualitative and quantitative surveys in the area of monitoring and evaluation of public management or social issues
* Working experience in survey implementation issues more particularly in implementing household survey, and monitoring survey
* Strong conceptual and analytical skills in economic/ social, gender and poverty data analysis
* Able to manage organize and facilitate training to the survey team for data collection
* Experience in performing data management, processing, analysis data quality review data editing
* Excellent communication skills and experience in developing extensive network of professional contacts with a wide cross – section of government, donor/NGO community, other stakeholders and civil society
* Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodology
* Ability to train and evaluate interviewers
* Good knowledge of conducting interviews
* Good written and verbal communication skills in bahasa and English
* Experience of Indonesia decentralization issues is a plus
