Summary of Responsibilities
Direct sales efforts and oversee the training and development of the
staff and agents located in the region. Sell and support of inflatable
packers and downhole tools, equipment and supplies or services to new
and established customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop sales strategy for establishing partnerships with other
oil/gas and/or drilling companies and to ensure direct customer
contact in the Indonesian region.
• Research prospective projects through telephone, travel, conference
attendance and utilization of the Internet or other sources.
• Coordinate the development of strategies, plans and business models
through development of close working relationships with internal
departments and external partners and alliances.
• Identify key customer relationships.
• Create financial projections for growth and profitability.
• Conduct sales meetings to review ongoing activities and future
opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May directly supervise some employees in the Indonesian sales area.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include
interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and
directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling
employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability

Education/Experience
Requires Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or
university; or three to five years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seven to ten
years sales management experience and/or training in oilfield
equipment; specific experience in packers and/or downhole tools
preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must
be Bilingual (English and Indonesian, French would be an advantage).
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability
to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual required - English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work under a minimum of supervision. Ability to read and
understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of
inflatable packers or related downhole tools. Must demonstrate
effective organization and time management skills. Basic to
intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word and Excel
and MRP or related systems. Familiarity with computer networks and e-mail.
