Responsibilities:
provide support, and consultation to customers by
troubleshoot sample or customers' application that's interacting with our software
debug performance issues.
run test scripts on UNIX
formulating test scenarios or test programs or samples to replicate customers issues
understanding how to troubleshoot applications, utilizing the logs files or core dump produced by the application
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in any field.
Required skill(s): Java, J2ee.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
3 Full-Time positions available.
· The J2EE or CORBA- Technical Support Engineer has an important role that involves Level 2 support for customers across the APAC / EMEA / Americas region.
· A solid development/support/testing background in core Java or C++
· A solid development/support/testing background in J2EE or CORBA or any distributed technologies/platforms like DCOM.
· Intermediate level of understanding with both UNIX and Windows platform from a systems point of view. You should be able to invoke commands and be comfortable in a shell environment on a UNIX platform.
Prior team lead experience or relevant Support background will be considered for senior position.
Salary would be commensurate to the candidate's depth of experience & abilities.
