One of the leading suppliers of energy products to industrial plants in the Asian region is embarking on its investment in mining and freight transportation projects. To support its expansion plan, the Company is looking for dynamic and motivated professionals to join the team as:
Financial Controller (FC)
Reporting to the CEO, the incumbent is responsible for the full spectrum of finance. He will develop and lead of financial professionals in both the local and overseas Companies. He will carry out direct negotiations with banks and financial institutions on project finance/trade credit facilities and interact with the external parties or consultants on matters relating to legal, tax, finance, strategic and transaction structure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or professional accountancy qualifications with 8 – 10 years senior management experience in finance.
- Able to manage multiple changing agendas in fast-paced environment.
- Committed individuals with good interpersonal and communication skills engaging at senior management level.
- Wide exposure to broad range of contracts of sales/purchases, sea freight and trade credit finance.
- Asia Pacific travel experience an advantage and willing to travel at short notice.
Shipping Operation Manager (SOM)
The successful candidate will be in charge of the shipping operations and has bottom-line responsibility for the Company principal activities in transportation of bulk commodities by Company-owned tugs and barges in ASEAN region.
Requirements:
- Experience in tugs and barges operations with a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position. Preference will be given to candidates with a good command of English and exposure to Maritime Law.
- Must have knowledge in various types of freight/voyage charters and contracts.
- Familiar with vessel documentations, certifications, charter parties and insurance claims.
- Computer literate and well versed in latest marine telecommunications equipment.
Job descriptions:
- Planning, implement and organize the Shipping/Operations Department to ensure the smooth deliveries of the goods to the customers.
- Planning the shipping schedules, monitor the vessels according to the schedules and ensure the objectives set by the management are achieved.
- Sourcing the vessels for the time charter/freight charter, plan the operations expenses/costs and most importantly to ensure that it is within the budget allocated by the management.
- Visit the operations site (load & discharge ports) from time to time to ensure the activities (load & discharge) run smoothly and following the right procedures drawn up by the management.
- Make daily reports to the immediate supervisor on the progress of the vessels and latest activities and also to suppliers and customers.
- Assist Management in identify and solving the problems in operations to avoid further losses to the company.
Group Corporate Secretary (SEC)
The successful candidate will be in charge of the all correspondence for all group of companies and assisting Executive Directors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years experience in related field.
- PSC holder/Diploma in Secretarial/Degree in Law or equivalent related field, knowledge in basis accounting and finance is advantage.
- Committed, trustworthy, reliable, discipline, dedicative, able to adapt & work in challenging business environment, work independently & under pressure with minimum supervisor, good interpersonal skill & computer literature compulsory.
- Willing to travel out station/overseas, excellent in communication & preparing presentation.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferable.
