CONTRACT MANAGER
Scope of Works:
l Responsibility for day to day management of the contract between Company and the Customer.
l Represent Company interest regarding contractual disputes, claims and variations to negotiate best financial deal.
l Primary point of contact between Company and Customer Contract / Procurement Manager.
l Close liaison with internal Company departments such as Finance, Legal and CEG.
l Close liaison with Company project teams to fully understand targets and commitments and support these commitments.
l Lead contract negotiations for additional scope.
l Negotiation and management of contracts with Company suppliers and subcontractors.
l Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring any penalties are correctly applied.
l Provide advice and recommendations with regard to Company contracting / negotiation strategy.
Requirements and Competencies:
l A fully trained Telecoms Contract Manager with at least 5 years experience managing international projects.
l An excellent understanding of large telecoms project deployments.
l Excellent product knowledge across all domains.
l A proven track record of delivery.
l Excellent negotiation skills.
l Excellent inter personal and communication skills, easily able to communicate with the Customer, Project Team, Suppliers and Subcontractors at all levels.
l A high level of cultural awareness and experience working in multi cultural teams.
l High level of commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of financial, procurement and legal processes.
