Job Title COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Purpose of Job
To carry out commissioning activities for the project teams of all BSP
Major Projects, carried out in the MCY Yard as well as onshore and
offshore locations
thereby ensuring a safe and timely start up of the new facilities in
line with Company standards and specifications.
Principal accountabilities? Carry out the commissioning activities for
major projects in onshore locations.
? Preparation of commissioning workpacks to ensure a smooth
commissioning and start up of the facilities.
? Support the project teams in preparation for construction and
commissioning.
? Support the project teams in plans for Flawless Project Delivery.
? To monitor the fabrication activities and provide guide and steer to
the fabrication team to ensure that systems are completed in logical
order and
in time for a smooth commissioning period and quick start up.

Purpose of the job
Scope To provide active support to projects in the
execution/construction phase by planning and co-ordinating activities,
resolving queries on technical
issues in the scope of work. Carry out electrical design for projects
in various execution stages.
Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas Sdn. Bhd. (BLNG), is one of the oldest
and most established LNG plants worldwide. It has an annual Opex/Capex
outlay of around
US$ 100 million.
The incumbent will be involved / responsible for a variety of
electrical oriented projects, such as:
- Replacement and installation of electrical emergency generators
- Replacement of rectifiers / UPS-units
- Replacement of air-conditioning
- Upgrade security fence lighting
Principal tasks & responsibilities The incumbent is accountable for
the development of projects assigned, including:
- Planning of activities and co-ordinating input of all Functions.

To manage and supervise onshore project activities on fabrication,
construction, hook-up, installation and tie-in to existing facilities
by construction
contractor on the worksite in line with BSP's HSE policies,
Guidelines, Objectives and Work instruction.
Principal accountabilities? Control and monitor the execution of all
works by the Fabrication and Installation Contractor.
? Ensure that the contractor carry out the work to contractual
specifications and quality requirements.
? Meet and agree Health Safety Security and Environmental Targets and
to execute activities in line with MPM and Asset HSE case and has a
high level
awareness of the ISO14001 requirements.
? Execute the activities under his control to safeguard integrity of
production facilities in his work area. Develop an integrity culture
amongst
working staff. Raise technical queries (TQ) variation/non-conformances
to procedures and standards.
? Participate in verifying the Contractor's Milestone / Lump Sump
payments Preliminary Cost Measure (PMC) and the Actual Cost Measure
(ACM). Also to
verify the correctness of the contractor's time sheets and dialy
progress report for approval / issuance.
? Ensure relevant parties duly sign the relevant construction handover
and completion certificates and verifying the correctness of the mark-up
As-built drawing packages submitted by contractors.
? Be a project matrix team member in reviewing commenting PEP, all
engineering design / work method / procedure, commissioning packages.
? Review and support for approval of HIP/JHA and milestone Zero
Documentation before initial Contractor work site mobilization.
? Conduct Contractor Performance Review (CPR) as per contractual
requirement with BSP audit team.
? Optimise the allocated contractor resources and priorities all
critical activities whilst ensuring minimum deferment with due regard
for technical
integrity of all affected facilities, environmental impact and safety
of the total workforce.
? Monitor progress of fabrication, construction and manage shortfalls,
deviations or changes from plans.
? Ensure contractors waiver or concession request are address to the
appropriate Technical Authority for consideration.
? Assist BSP QS in the preparation of cost estimates and any rates due
to additional/changes of workscope.
? Assist commissioning team in providing contractor manpower and
resources.
? Manage construction work planning and material issued by BSP and
reconcile surplus materials at construction project completion.
? Contribute feedback to project engineering to project close-out report.

Purpose of Job
The Contract Engineer will provide commercial and supply chain support
in several key business areas, delivery of Company business activities
