Our Client is the market leader in adhesives and sealants, construction chemicals, hobby colors and polymer emulsions; currently they are looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:
Project and Development Sales Manager
Responsibilities
1. Lead assigned team of Projects sales persons to achieve agreed budget targets.
2. Identify assigned Contractors market segments suitable for expanding, entering into with either existing, or new products.
3. Ensure Projects sales staffs are provided with all necessary tools to achieve their goals i.e. catalogues, samples, test report etc.
4. Propose the products, customers, and pricing policy for particular situation to achieve sales targets.
5. Supervise, motivate, communicate and train Projects sales staffs.
6. Product Demonstration and testing to achieve the sales targets.
7. Monitor competitors' activities and keep the Superiors brief of their activities.
8. Specified and Maintain all the time good product specification and knowledge and provide to all government departments.
9. Propose assigned stock levels for both locally products and imported products line or group to Superiors.
10. Propose periodic Training for all Projects sales persons.
11. Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to Superiors.
12. Ensure reporting system effective and monitor closely salespersons' performance.
13. Keep daily contact with customers both Main Contractors and Specialize Contractors.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior. Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
15. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
16. Determine Project price schedules and discount rates policy.
17. Advise Projects and Contractors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
18. Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
19. Represent company at trade/exhibition/seminar association meetings to promote products.
20. Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
1. Ability to develop and train associates, build relationships, utilizes skills of associates most appropriately.
2. Ability to manage department operations effectively.
3. Ability to merchandise effectively.
4. Ability to provide outstanding customer and project service.
5. Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to workforce.
6. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understands material, and provides instructions to associates.
8. Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
9. Ability to work a full-time schedule including up country project visit
10. Project / Contractor Sales management experience preferred.
11. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
12. Bachelor Degree preferable in Civil Engineering with MBA is advance.
13. At least 5 years in Project sales functions.
